Jesse Saxton Competes at State

Sophomore Jesse Saxton competed in the MHSAA Division 3 State Cross Country Championship today at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.  Jesse finished 43rd out of 237 runners.  He finished the 3.1 mile muddy course in 17:01.5.  He also finished 8th among all Sophomores.  This was Jesse’s first state final.  We are looking forward to great

JV’s Finish the Season Strong

The JV volleyball team won their final three matches of the season on Tuesday. The Tigers defeated Ravenna 25-13 and 25-19, Tri-County 25-16 and 25-20, and Oakridge 25-20 and 26-24 in a crossover. Jesse Saxton qualifies for State Cross Country, leads team to 8th place Regional finish

Jesse Saxton finished in 8th place at the MHSAA Regionals at Allendale High School yesterday.  Jesse ran the 3.1 mile course in 16:48.19, which qualified him for the State Meet next weekend at Michigan International Speedway.  The top 15 finishers qualified.  Jesse’s finish also help lead the Tigers to an 8th place team finish. 8th Grade Football finishes season undefeated

JV Volleyball finishes 3-0 at home

The Grant JV volleyball team won all three of their matches on Tuesday night. The Tigers defeated Hart 25-11 and 25-18, North Muskegon 25-21 and 25-22, and Tri-County 25-12 and 25-16. Briana Louck led the team with nine kills, nine digs, two blocks and 29 points while classmate Courtney Wegener added seven kills, 10 digs and 35 points.
